Commander Michael Lopez-Alegria and Flight Engineer Mikhail Tyurin began their Expedition in March 2008. European Space Agency astronaut Thomas Reiter remained with Expedition 14 after Expedition 13 departed from the station. Flight Engineer Sunita Williams replaced Reiter when Space Shuttle Discovery dropped her off on mission STS-116. Rudy the little dog was just along for the ride.

Rudy was passing through Hollywood and his old friend Lassie asked him to appear in her new movie.

Rudy Stop's For Lunch

Rudy and his friend, Buddy were driving through Wisconsin. As they were approaching Oconomowoc, they started arguing about the pronunciation of the town's name. They argued back and forth until they stopped for lunch.

As they stood at the counter, Rudy asked the employee. "Before we order, could you please settle an argument for us? Would you please pronounce where we are... very slowly?
The employee leaned over the counter and said, Burrrrrr, gerrrrrr, Kiiiing."
