Commander Michael Lopez-Alegria and Flight Engineer Mikhail Tyurin began their Expedition in March 2008. European Space Agency astronaut Thomas Reiter remained with Expedition 14 after Expedition 13 departed from the station. Flight Engineer Sunita Williams replaced Reiter when Space Shuttle Discovery dropped her off on mission STS-116. Rudy the little dog was just along for the ride.
Rudy and his friend, Buddy were driving through Wisconsin. As they were approaching Oconomowoc, they started arguing about the pronunciation of the town's name. They argued back and forth until they stopped for lunch.
As they stood at the counter, Rudy asked the employee. "Before we order, could you please settle an argument for us? Would you please pronounce where we are... very slowly? The employee leaned over the counter and said, Burrrrrr, gerrrrrr, Kiiiing."
Rudy is checking his blog for messages while resting at home from his gruelling virtual world tour. There was a suggestion for a trip to England, so Rudy is checking that out. Thank you Charlie Dog for the invite. Now he has to figure out where Glastonbury Tor is.
